Many conditions, symptoms and problems are caused by, or at least made much worse by our cognitive processes – the way we think. For example, evidence shows that if we focus on every last bit of pain, we feel more pain. So if we think differently and focus on what we want to achieve (slight discomfort or complete comfort), rather than what we want to avoid, we feel less pain.

All of the following respond well to hypnotherapy and/or the THRIVE programme. If you want help with something that’s not in the list, give me a call and we’ll discuss whether hypnotherapy or THRIVE can help you.

Serious medical conditions

Some serious medical conditions are listed below. If you have a serious medical condition, please come in for your free initial consultation to find out how I might be able to help you with Thrive Training, hypnoanalysis or hypnotherapy. Please be aware that after our initial consultation, if you’d like to work with me to help relieve or resolve your symptoms, I will ask for a referral from your GP.

Please download the form on the right if you’d like to take that to your GP to tell them what you’d like to do. Please ask them to complete the tick boxes, sign it and stamp it with the surgery stamp. Alternatively, it would be great if they had the time to send me a standard letter of referral.
